Aside from it's cheery name, I love that periwinkle is both a flower and also the color of the flower. The color is a blueish purple and the hand dyed fabric that I used is mostly blue but there are some areas that look like they have a purply tinge. This little mini quilt is wrapped around a canvas and can be hung or propped up on a shelf.
