The other flowers I made when I made this one are based on actual flowers. I found some real flowers that are purple with six petals but none that had a second layer of petals a darker purple underneath, but maybe I didn't look long enough. Anyway, I think it's sweet with it's beaded center. This little mini quilt is wrapped around a canvas and can be hung or propped up on a shelf.
