I made this art quilt for the Island Batik New Beginnings Blog Hop and it's probably my favorite of the Island Batik quilts, but that could also be because I love the redwoods so much.
While making this quilt I learned that doing free motion quilting is much easier if you use thread made for machine quilting. If you get a chance you should drive the Avenue of the Giants and visit Trees of Mystery in northern California. |
