The inspiration for this piece is the long, thin hand-dyed fabric that goes down the middle with the colors bleeding from one to the next. I also really liked the batik fabric in the middle and embellished it with iridescent beads, including a face inside the image that looks like a sun.

On the bottom right are some coins from a belly dance coin hip scarf.
