This quilt was made by layering purple, green, and white sheer fabrics on top of a purple cotton fabric with a bit of white lace on top. All these fabrics were free motion quilted down then "framed" with wide, cream colored borders. Gold glass beads and delicate silver leaves were hand sewn to the top.
This quilt was inspired by a photo of lichen on a rock. |
