This piece was started by my friend, Sue R. who passed away before she had a chance to finish it. She had pieced most of the background. All of the embellishments that I added came from her stash. The title "Afterimage" is defined "a visual sensation occurring after stimulation by its external cause has ceased," which I thought was an appropriate title.
