This is a fabric mosaic. Tiny pieces of fabric are fused to a background, covered with tulle netting, then quilted together with couched yarn. Because it has three or more layers held together with stitches, it is a quilt. The sparkle you see in the photo is from the tulle.

This quilt was made for the 2015 Miniature Show at Would You, Could You in a Frame.
