I also made a version of this piece using the gray side of Robert Kaufman's Effervescence Gradation Gray. The fabric on both pieces are arranged so the petals get darker as they move away from the center. The is one large wood button in the center and nine smaller buttons scattered throughout the piece. There are also nine petals (or partial petals) outlined with a quilting line on the left part of the quilt.
