While it's hard to pick a favorite, this one is one of my favorites, and not just because it won Best in Show in The View. It was made for Project Quilting, season 3.4 and the challenge was Barn Quilt (the quilt squares painted on the side of a barn).
It was also featured in Art Quilting Studio Magazine's Summer 2018 issue on using hand dyed fabric, although I also used a few commercially printed pieces. The nine patches are the traditional quilt square on the side of the barn and there are also four in the sky and one in the field. |
