This quilt was made for Project Quilting, season 4.3 in the style of Annie Young.

I used a lovely piece of hand dyed fabric then added a cone flower which had outlines around the petals with both fabric and a chunky yarn.

The only type of hand quilting I really enjoy is seed stitching (small straight stitches at all angles and direction but an equal length) so I did that did with two different colors to add some visual texture to help balance the flower.
